NAILPRO announces winners of the Daylight Nail Art’ contests
The Daylight Company™, the world's leading supplier of specialty lamps, teamed up with NAILPRO recently for a Nail Art Contest, and is excited to announce the top three winners and their fabulous nail art designs.
Originally conceived to coincide with Valentine's Day there were so many entries that the staffs of NAILPRO and Daylight™ extended it through March to include a special "Readers Choice" prize in which nail professionals and readers picked their favorite design. The Valentine's Day contest winners can be found in the April issue of NAILPRO and the special "Readers Choice" winner is featured on the website.
With imagination as the only limit to each design, the Valentine's Day theme ranged from sweet and sassy to sexy seductress. The designs highlighted each person's creative spirit and showcased what Valentine's Day means to them.

The first place winner was Martynka Klepacka of Bridgeview, Illinois. Martynka will receive a grand prize valued at $449.98 from The Daylight Company – one each of the Duo Design UV Lamp (D/E33187) and Slimline Table Lamp, Chrome (D/E32107). Her alluring design featured unique gold, red and black designs on shaped nails, which were topped off with stunning sparkle and hand-painted details.

Second place winner was Janna Jahr of Blair, Wisconsin. Janna took the popular idea of chocolate-covered strawberries and turned each nail into tempting treat. Berry red nails are topped with a rich chocolate brown and white "chocolate drizzle", while a crown of leaves is hand-painted in vivid green detail on each nail.

Third place winner was Tanya Ross from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Young-at-heart, Tanya painted each nail with an admiring parody of characters from The Smurfs. The appropriately named "Enamored Smurf" woos the blonde "Smurfette" with a daisy and serenade, in a story laid-out in Tanya's design. Both second and third place winners will each receive a Duo Design UV Lamp (D/E33187).

The Daylight Company™ Nail Art Contest Readers Choice winner Lyudmyla Kulyniy.
While the top three winners were chosen by NAILPRO and The Daylight Company, the Readers Choice winner was chosen exclusively by readers. The fan-favorite design was by Lyudmyla Kulyniy, who will receive a Twist portable lamp, white (D/E33700).
